Two new covers celebrate the diversity of relationships that Fog of Love – and life – has to offer
Fog of Love is a game for two players. You will create and play two vivid characters who meet, fall in love and face the challenge of making an unusual relationship work.
Playing Fog of Love is like being in a romantic comedy: roller-coaster rides, awkward situations, lots of laughs and plenty of difficult compromises to make.
Much as in a real relationship, goals might be at odds. You can try to change, keep being relentless or even secretly decide to be a Heartbreaker. It’s your choice.
The happily ever after won’t be certain, but whatever way your zigzag romance unfolds, you’ll always end up with a story full of surprises – guaranteed to raise a smile!
Danya –
Fog of Love is an excellent and unique roleplaying board game designed for two people, where you can either fall in love or ride off into the sunset alone. Despite the name, it’s fun to play with anyone as this game doesn’t take itself too seriously and allows for lots of goofy moments the characters can go through. If you are someone who enjoys creating immersive and creative storylines, you will likely appreciate this game.
The games take about an hour or two, depending on which scenario you pick. While it includes a traditional rule book, they also have a video option or a way to play physically through the tutorial, which is great for people who understand games through playing rather than reading. After the initial setup, it’s pretty easy to incorporate different scenarios later on (in case you decide to pick up the expansions). Characters can be of any sex (even the game boxes are different!), so it’s more inclusive – which I appreciate.
Overall, if you are a fan of cooperative simulation board games or just looking to play out a romantic comedy in boardgame style, I recommend you check it out!
